Piperi beach, Paros Island |
The small and scenic sandy beach of Piperi (meaning “pepper” in Greek) is situated at a distance of some 10 kilometers northeastern to the town of Paros (Paroikia). The locals often refer to it as they were two separate beaches, the Mikro and Megalo Piperi (“small” and “big” Piperi), but in fact it is only one beach, very nice with fine sand and crystal clear sea. Several alternatives for accommodation are available at the beach and in the area around. You will also find fish taverns and traditional restaurants with tasty dishes, as well as lots of bars and cafés with or without music, most of which also offer a wonderful view of the sea and the town. |

The beach is very well organized and you will enjoy swimming, diving, snorkeling and fishing in a nice sea, with all facilities necessary for having good time and relaxing. Many people come here just to sunbathe and enjoy the view of the scenic rocks and of the town of Naoussa and its port across. In case of emergence, the town of Naoussa is very close, only half kilometer at the East; otherwise, you should address to the corresponding services of Paroikia, some 10 kilometers southwestern to Piperi. Access from Naoussa is possible even on foot, whereas from Paroikia you may reach the beach by bus, running regularly, as well as by rented or private car and motorbikes. |
