The small but well protected sandy beach of Langeri is situated some 1,5 kilometers northeastern to Naoussa and 12 kilometers far from the town of Paros (Paroikia) also at the Northeast.
Several alternatives for accommodation are available in the broader area and in Naoussa; food is good at the sea front fish taverns and the traditional restaurants scattered around.
The beach is not organized, but the sea is crystal clear, the sand is fine and forms wonderful dunes. It is a nice beach, not too crowded, suitable for those wishing to swim far from the noisy crowds of the organized beaches.
In case of emergence you should address to the corresponding services of the nearby town of Naoussa (1,5 kilometers southwestern to the beach), or of Paroikia (12 kilometers far away in the same direction).
Access to this quiet beach is easy by rented or private car and motorbikes. You may also come by public bus which will leave you at the public road. You may also catch one of the small excursion boats departing daily from the port of Naoussa to get the numerous visitors to Langeri. If you have a yacht, temporary mooring is possible near the beach. |
