Krios beach, Paros Island |
The beach of Krios (meaning “ram” in Greek) is situated at a distance of some 2 kilometers northern to the capital Paroikia. It is a long, sandy beach with fine white sand, very clean crystal clear sea, well protected from the northern winds. The beach is very popular, not only because of the vicinity to the town of Paros (Paroikia), but also because it is very beautiful. It is a well organized beach with facilities for swimming and sunbathing and bars at the sea front, where you may enjoy a coffee, refreshments and a light meal. You will enjoy the sun at ease, as despite the crowds arriving here every day, the beach never gets “packed”. An additional pro of the place is that it has a nice view of the town of Paros and the hills around it. |

Accommodation in the area is easy enough, as lodgings are plenty in Paroikia and the area around. For any problem you may address to the corresponding services of the capital Paroikia (town of Paros), only 2 kilometers far away to the South. At the right end of the beach there is a card phone for the public. Access to the beach is very easy by taxi, by rented or private car and motorbikes. You may also catch one of the excursion boats departing from Paroikia, a pretty popular means to access the beach. |
