The summer tourist resort of Chrysi Akti is situated at a distance of some 25 kilometers southeastern to the town of Paros (Paroikia). As it is found at an excellent and very famous beach, the settlement has rapidly developed in a tourist resort with a lot of services and facilities for the thousands of tourists, fans of windsurfing. The settlement counts only a few permanent residents.

Many alternatives for accommodation are available in the settlement, at the beach itself and in the area around. There are also plenty of taverns, most of them at the seafront, where you will enjoy local dishes and fresh fish.

It goes without saying that at such a beautiful and well organized beach, swimming, sunbathing and sea sports are really a great pleasure.

In case of emergence, you should address to the corresponding services of the nearby village of Marpissa (some 3-4 kilometers at the North), or of Paroikia (25 kilometers western to Chryssi Akti).
